Archetype A - historical immutable-release agent design
Status: Fictional historical acceptance-design lesson, not a runnable workload or current architecture. The legacy promotion commands and per-profile gateway files were retired.
This archetype contrasted an exact-commit Python release selected by a current symlink with a
package-version release in Archetype B. Its lesson was to
record source identity, capture the previous target before promotion, re-derive running state, and
exercise rollback. The symlink and gateway-profile layout was an application-level design, not a
security isolation proof. No command in this page should be used as a live deployment runbook.
The current operator-reported narrative instead groups individual OpenShell agent sandboxes in realms under an operator-core VM. Realms group workloads; no inter-realm isolation measurement is implied.
